I still can’t quite believe that I pulled it off! I’ll be back soon with a more detailed post. In the meantime I’m just basking in the knowledge that I can stop worrying about the dress.

Thank you! Funnily enough, I’ve just put two and two together and realise that the tutorials I followed to do the quilting were actually yours! I had been due to take a smocking class which fell through and so I searched the internet for some help at getting started and came across your posts about it. You made it seem like something that I could try so I did! I’ve now been bitten by the smocking bug. I found it really, really enjoyable.
